Norfolk Natter Newsletter 2010-Summer

SECRETARY’S MESSAGE:

Well, here it is August already. It’s been a great summer! Although it has been hot (and promises to get that way again), I have not only been able to enjoy the pool, but also have had time to spend with my newest litter as well as the adults. But, before we know it, autumn will be upon us, and I’ll be heading back to school.

It also means that we have some Club business to attend to.

First of all, this year is an election year. Inside this Natter, you will find a nomination form as well as an explanation on our upcoming election. Positions available include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Directors. If you know someone who would be interested in holding one of these positions, please fill in the nomination form and return it to me by August 30th.

Remember;

1.2.2 Members of the NTCC must be in good standings with the CKC. Membership in the CKC is encouraged but not mandatory. CKC membership is only required for any and all members seeking a position on the Executive.

1.2.5 No member shall have a vote or may hold office until they have been a current member for one full year.

Watch for news on our next Norfolk get-together at the Pawsway. The exact date will be posted on our website.

Our National Specialty will be held in Lindsay Nov. 27th. At that time, the draw will be made for a framed numbered print. If you have not yet purchased tickets, you will find a sheet included in this Natter. Send the completed entries and check (made out to NTCC), to me by Nov. 1st. The tickets sell for $1 apiece, or 6 for $5.
